After a decade spent working as a fabrication and engineering professional, Matt identified an opportunity in the energy service industry for a specialised heavy fabrication and inspection provider that could deliver the full concept to commission quality services. And so Obadare was born.

Matt is an industry pioneer and has devised several mechanical solutions unseen anywhere else in the market for testing and operating equipment more efficiently. He has a deep and comprehensive understanding of industry’s best practice, trends, pressures and demands.

Matt is responsible for guiding the company’s strategic direction and providing oversight at a project level. He is a dynamic leader and drives Obadare to achieve high quality results in a safe and environmentally friendly manner on all its projects.

Commercial Manager

Stephen Lucht brings over two decades of multifaceted leadership experience across manufacturing, mining, and coal seam gas industries.

As Commercial Manager at Obadare, Stephen plays a strategic role in guiding business direction, overseeing sales, engineering, and procurement functions, and ensuring seamless project handovers to operations. With a background in human resources, industrial relations, and health and safety, Stephen is well-versed in leading large teams, driving operational change, and enhancing performance across complex environments.

Holding a Bachelor of Business (USQ) and a Diploma in Quality Auditing, Stephen combines strong analytical, financial, and people management skills to align project delivery with commercial goals.

He works closely with senior leadership to maintain production flow, optimise client engagement, and support Obadare’s long-term strategic vision. Known for his professionalism and cross-functional insight, Stephen is a key contributor to the company’s continued success and growth.

Chief Operating Officer

Melissa Morice, COO of Obadare Group, is a foundational force behind the company’s success. A qualified accounts professional, she brings deep financial expertise, strong ethics, and unwavering dedication. Melissa oversees administration, finance, accounting, and cost control across all projects, driving operational excellence and strategic alignment. 

With a people-focused leadership style, Melissa fosters a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and the Group’s core values. She also heads the HR department ensuring the organisation upholds the highest standards of quality, culture and compliance.

Operations Manager

Craig Fisher joined our business as Operations Manager, taking over the reigns from Stephen Lucht. Craig Fisher brings extensive manufacturing and general management experience to his role as Operations Manager at Obadare.

With a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance, Craig oversees daily operations, production planning, and post-handover client communication to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Known for his calm, mature approach, Craig plays a key role in aligning operational execution with Obadare’s strategic goals, while fostering a culture of efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Product Manager - Rig Spread 

Kevin is an accomplished vice president level executive with 18-year track record of successful, strategic and tactical leadership within the oil & gas industry, both domestically and internationally.

As the Product Manager for our Rig Spreads Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and a highly refined skill set to the Obadare team. With expertise in establishing technical differentiation and extensive industry experience Kevin spearheads all our Rig Spread operations and is always committed to achieving excellence.

Operations Coordinator

Matt Holland brings over 30 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, progressing from Boilermaker to senior leadership roles. As Operations Coordinator at Obadare, Matt oversees the fabrication, machining, coatings, inspections, and commissioning teams, ensuring timely, high-quality project delivery.

Renowned for his integrity, adaptability, and people-first approach, Matt is instrumental in driving team performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across Obadare’s manufacturing and service delivery divisions.

Matt works directly with our operations Manager spearheading the team into achieving the impossible goals.

Senior Mechanical Engineer 

With a strong background in mechanical design, Dan has worked on many oilfield projects from initial design concepts through to commissioning, as well as equipment upgrades and improvements.

This has given Dan a strong understanding of drilling/workover rig operations. Dan also brings extensive experience in API category III and IV inspections and shop fabrication.

Dan is a Certified Engineering Technologist with twenty-five years of oilfield experience in design, fabrication and inspection.

Quality and Administration Lead

Stacey brings a wealth of experience and backgrounds to the Obadare business having held roles in administrative management, AP & AR, payroll, HR support as well as her degree and experience in legal roles and contract administration.

Stacey is a true multi- tasker and performs multiple roles across our growing business including but not limited to quality administration, payroll, accounts, general administration and operational workshop support.

Project Manager

Luke McNalty is a dual-degree professional in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management and Leadership, known for his sharp problem-solving skills and strategic mindset.

As Project Manager at Obadare, Luke strives to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to standard, while maintaining strict cost control and schedule adherence.

With strong CAD proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a calm, solutions-focused approach, he fosters trusted client relationships and drives continuous improvement across all project phases.

Engineer – Technical Sales and Estimating 

Abhi is a Mechanical Engineer and works in the front end of the business in Technical Estimating and Project Management.

At Obadare, he supports project lifecycles from initial enquiry through to procurement and delivery, ensuring efficient front-end processes & accurate quoting.

His previous experience and roles within the manufacturing industry bring value in contract administration, project coordination, and cost estimation across various projects.

Abhi’s strengths lie in stakeholder engagement, tender management, and cost control, all backed by his strong verbal and written communication skills.

Engineering Manager

Casey Adair is a degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in manufacturing, specialising in heavy vehicle and steel structure design. 

As Engineering Manager at Obadare, Casey leads the engineering and design teams, ensuring all outputs meet the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards. A certified RPEQ and Engineers Australia member, Casey combines technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder rapport to deliver exceptional project outcomes and long-term client relationships.
