Managing Director

After a decade spent working as a fabrication and engineering professional, Matt identified an opportunity in the energy service industry for a specialised heavy fabrication and inspection provider that could deliver the full concept to commission quality services. And so Obadare was born. Matt is an industry pioneer and has devised several mechanical solutions unseen anywhere else in the market for testing and operating equipment more efficiently. He has a deep and comprehensive understanding of industry best-practice, trends, pressures and demands. Matt is responsible for guiding the company's strategic direction and providing oversight at a project level. He is a dynamic leader and drives Obadare to achieve high quality results in a safe and environmentally friendly manner on all of its projects.

Commercial Manager

As Commercial Manager, Stephen brings a wealth of operational, financial and human resources skills to the business here at Obadare. Having worked in the coal seam gas and mining area, along with running a large manufacturing plant previously, Stephen's background is a perfect fit for the business. Stephen holds degree qualifications with a Bachelor of Business (USQ) and has his Diploma in Quality Auditing, along with a number of other industry specific training courses and business skill set. Stephen is responsible for the operational areas of the business including project management, staff attraction and retention, workshop planning and review and the overall running of the business. His role will liaise with Matt and the Sales team to ensure that work is booked into the workshop in an efficient manner and will keep clients updated and aware through the job life cycle.

Company Accountant

Melissa is a long term Obadare team member who has learnt the business from the ground up and grown with the company. Mel has a great understanding of both the business and industry, as well as being a degree qualified accountant.

Melissa pulls together our administrative, finance, accounting and cost control functions for all projects.

Product Manager - Rig Spread 

Kevin is an accomplished vice president level executive with 18 year track record of successful, strategic and tactical leadership within the oil and gas industry, both domestically and internationally. As the Product Manager for our Rig Spreads Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and a highly refined skill set to the Obadare team. With an expertise in establishing technical differentiation and extensive industry experience Kevin spearheads all our Rig Spread operations and is always commitment to achieving excellence.

Operations Manager

Craig Fisher joined our business as Operations Manager taking over the reigns from Stephen Lucht who will now focus on the commercial and strategic direction of the business. Craig’s manufacturing knowledge, general management experience and focus on safety & quality will help take our business to the next level. With a calm and mature demeanor Craig will be the guiding force at Obadare to ensure projects are completed safely with the highest level of quality – on time and on budget.

Operations Coordinator

Starting his career as a trade qualified boilermaker, Dean has taken on a number of manufacturing roles such as Production Manager, Operations Manager, and Assistant Plant Engineer. During Dean’s career, he worked one of Australia’s largest onshore drilling rigs as a lead floor hand for over 5 years. Dean is passionate about his team of people and enhancing the culture here at Obadare, working directly with our Commercial Manager Stephen Lucht and Operations Manager Craig Fisher.
