MPC Kinetic expanded their well service operational fleet and requested that Obadare design, manufacture and commission an automated, hydraulically controlled catwalk.
The catwalk trailer has hydraulic controls on rack rails, ejectors and loaders, angle and telescoping control of the vee door, skate controls and a bi-folding ramp to allow front end loader access. With 7T pipe rack rails and the capability of running a wide range of tubular sizes, the Obadare Catwalk is field ready for Australian drilling environments.
The team worked very hard to see the project from initial design through to completion and hand over. The trailer comes with a full compliance package including registration, detailed operations manual, critical spare parts listing, MDR and HA assessment.
